A few reassuring facts

What beginners should know before starting.

Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga is taught individually within a shared practice room. Rather than trying to follow an entire class at once, each student learns step by step with personal guidance from the teacher.

Beginners are not expected to memorize a long sequence or already know what to do. You begin with a manageable amount of practice, learn at your own pace, and gradually build familiarity through repetition.

The method is structured, but the teaching is personal. Your practice can be adapted to your experience, body, injuries, energy, and goals.

Mysore is not self-practice without help. It is individualized instruction inside a shared and supportive room.
